CEESEG Increases Stake In Ljubljana Stock Exchange

CEESEG, a Vienna-based stock exchange, has agreed to acquire 16.443% in the Ljubljana Stock Exchange. The transaction makes CEESEG owner of 97.453% stake in the Slovenia -based stock exchange.
In June 2008, Wiener Borse, now CEESEG, bought 81.01% of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange. Within the scope of the restructuring of the group that includes the exchanges of Vienna, Budapest, Ljubljana and Prague, this share remained in the holding company, CEESEG.
Effective 8 February 2010, CEESEG as the holding company will become 100% owner of the operating entity, Wiener Borse and hold stakes of at least 97.453% in the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, 50.45% in the Budapest Stock Exchange and 92.74% in the Prague Stock Exchange.
Since January 14, 2010, the stock exchanges of Budapest, Ljubljana, Prague and Vienna are equal subsidiaries of the holding company CEESEG. The holding company is responsible for strategic and financial management and the administration of the investments, while the business operations are taken care of by the four subsidiaries.
